About Us

Quinlan Independent School District spans 152 square miles of Southern Hunt County, with an enrollment of approximately 2,900 students. Quinlan ISD serves four municipalities (Quinlan, West Tawakoni, Hawk Cove and Union Valley) and portions of four counties (Hunt, Kaufman, Rockwall and Van Zandt). QISD is categorized in the larger 4A UIL classification. UIL classifications in the state of Texas range from 1A – 6A. Our mascot is the panther and our school colors are blue and white.

The mission of the Quinlan Independent School district is to ensure that all children have access to a quality education that enables them to achieve their full potential and fully participate now and in the future in the social, economic, and  educational opportunities of our state and nation.
