Welcome to Dyslexia Instruction

 

I am Catherine Bentley.  I have been in public education for 18 years.  I transitioned to dyslexia instruction 8 years ago.  I am a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist in Texas.  I completed my Certified Academic Language Therapist training - CALT in May 2023 and Qualified Instructor -QI training in June 2025.

I grew up in Mesquite, Texas and graduated from North Mesquite High School.  I earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Texas.  I went on to acquire my Masters Degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration.

 

I will be teaching at Thompson Middle School.  I am excited to be part of the Quinlan ISD family.
