ParentSquare Communications

ParentSquare is the communications platform for Quinlan ISD, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year. QISD will utilize ParentSquare to communicate with families through email, text, app notifications, and phone calls. We recommend parents sign in using their Google or Microsoft account, but that is optional.

A ParentSquare account is automatically created for each parent or guardian using the contact information in our student information system, the Ascender Parent Portal. Parent contact information must be current and up-to-date in the Ascender Parent Portal to transfer to ParentSquare. If you cannot connect your children or see them in your ParentSquare account, please get in touch with your child's campus PEIMS clerk to review your contact information in your Ascender Parent Portal.

Do you want to get QISD notifications in a more straightforward way? Do you want to get them only once a day, instead of constantly throughout the day? Would you prefer to receive your notifications by text, email, or app notifications? If you download the ParentSquare app, you can set your settings to "Digest" and choose your preferred method of delivery. Parents will receive non-urgent messages and notifications specific to their children from their teachers, coaches, campuses, and the district around 6:00 pm each day. Important information to reach parents and emergency alerts will override those settings. We love this ParentSquare feature for parents to utilize and appreciate.
