The Quinlan-Ford Wind Ensemble had the distinct pleasure and privilege to perform at the Morton Meyerson Symphony Center Friday, April 7, 2017. I can't say enough about this group of students. They were very professional and gave a wonderful performance. After a sweepstakes at UIL earlier in March, the band replaced one of its contest pieces with a Grade 4 on the UIL PML, Pablo! by Meyer. The judges gave our performance straight 1's for their performance at the Big D Classic.
Thank you to Sauileoge To’afa, Stephanie Theriot Evans, Brent Longbotham, and Amber Clowers for your assistance and help in preparing the band for this performance. It is a privilege to work alongside you everyday and thank you for your dedication to our students in Quinlan ISD.
We were also blessed with the presence of some of the Quinlan ISD Administration who made the trip to downtown Dallas for a 7:30 a.m. performance. Thank you for supporting our students at this performance and all of the arts programs at Quinlan ISD.
