The Thompson Middle School Choir Program consists of 5 classes. There is a Varsity Girls' Choir made up of 7th and 8th grade girls, two classes of Non-Varsity girls, one Varsity Boys' Choir made up of 7th and 8th grade boys and a Non-Varsity boys' class. Last March, three choirs competed in the UIL Region 3 Choir Concert/Sight-reading Competition. The Boys' Choir earned a Sweepstakes trophy, the Non-Varsity Girls choir earned a Superior rating in Sight-Reading and an Excellent rating on stage. The Varsity Girls choir earned Excellent ratings.

 

This year students in the two Varsity choirs auditioned for Region 3 All Region Middle School Choir. 14 students earned a spot in this honor choir.

Auditions for the 7th Annual Middle School Musical will be in the first few weeks of 2023 upon returning from Christmas break The musical, a collaboration between TMS choir and theater, will be Disney's Newsies, Jr.
