USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame Inducts Two Quinlan ISD Staff Members

Michael Suber, a resident of Rockwall, was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame and presented with the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, Martial Arts Master of the Year award.  Michael Tull, a resident of Greenville, was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame and presented with the Leader in Leadership Black Belt Instructor of the Year award.  This is the 40th anniversary of the MAHOF.  Michael Suber and Micheal Tull both instruct karate for the Quinlan ISD ACE Afterschool Karate program.  Michael Suber is a forth degree black belt in the Shorin – Ryu style of karate. Michael Tull is a second degree black belt in the (AKR) American Kobudo Ryu Karate system of martial arts.  Suber and Tull are both educators that strive to teach strong character values as well as a respect and appreciation for the concepts taught through martial arts.  Students in the ACE Panther Martial Arts program have competed in various tournaments and work to gain a knowledge of martial arts while advancing as martial arts students.  This year Quinlan Panther Martial Arts will host its tournament in December.  If you would like more information about having your QISD student join the ACE program and become a part of the martial arts class please contact Michael Tull at Quinlan ISD. The ACE program is free for students in the Quinlan school district.
