My name is Jason Agee. Previous to law enforcement, I owned my own company and worked for a large internet website. I enjoyed my jobs but did not feel like they were a career. I then began my law enforcement career and as they say the rest is history. I began my career in 2005 as a Reserve Deputy at the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office. I then was hired as a full time Patrol Deputy in 2007. I loved my time at the Sheriff’s Office. I was looking for a new challenge when the Quinlan ISD Police Department came calling. I came on board here in February of 2012. I currently have a BAAS in Criminal Justice Administration from the Tarleton State University (Go Texans!). I hold a Master’s Peace Officer License and Sex Assault/Family Violence Certificate. I am also a Field Training Officer.
My current assignment is the Police Officer for Thompson Middle School, DAEP, and Pride. I work with students from many different grade levels and different home lives. In my career with the Sheriff’s Office, I worked most of my time in South Hunt County. I believe this experience gives me the foundation to better understand the daily lives of our students.
When I’m not at work, my wife and I enjoy traveling. I also like to go hiking and camping
