WHAT IS ACE? Quinlan ISD was awarded a federal grant to fund a comprehensive after-school program that is conducted four days a week from 3:30-6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday at all four QISD campuses. This program includes tutorials, after-school curriculum, academic enrichment, and activities that will serve to improve attendance, discipline, and academics. Meals and transportation are provided for the afternoon session. All services will be provided at no cost to the parent/student. The ACE program serves Pre-K through 12th grade. The ACE program also includes a family involvement component that will benefit adults who have students in the program.
What are Quinlan ISD ACE afterschool programs? Texas After-School Centers on Education is Quinlan ISD’s network of before and after-school programs that strive to provide structured, safe, and supervised places for learning and social interaction to prepare students for 21st-century jobs. These programs are free of charge and are offered Monday through Thursday.
Quinlan ISD's ACE program provides extended learning opportunities for students and their families and offers innovative, hands-on activities that reinforce and complement students' regular academic programs. These activities are before and after school and are based on research and best practices. By working with community partners, we provide academic enrichment that meets community needs.
Quinlan ISD's ACE program also strives to increase promotion and graduation rates and helps students prepare for college and the workplace. We do this with our Get Ready for College Program for fifth graders, science, technology, engineering and math education, and tutoring programs.
