Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. My name is Bobby Jones, I am in my 2nd year teaching Music teacher here at DC Cannon. This is my 3rd year at Cannon. I look forward to seeing your children each week. I earned my BA in Theatre Arts and Speech Education with a minor in Political Science from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas. I have a background of 8 years in education; one year on the college level, 3 years on the high and middle school levels and this will be my 4 years at the elementary level. Prior to coming back to education I spent 25 years as a Social worker with the GREAT State of Texas where I retired.

I have been married to my wife Gina ( who works in transportation at QISD) 23 years. We have 3 wonderful children. I am not only a employee of QISD  but I am an alumni, class of 83. I have had the pleasure of living in this great town of Quinlan for over 50 yrs.

Conference  7:45 to 8:45

Pre K 4         8:45 to 9:30

2nd grade    9:30 to 10:25

2nd grade    10:25 to 11:20

Lunch           11:20 to 11:50

1st grade      12:10 to 1:05

1st grade      1:05 to  2:00

Kinder           2:00 to 2:55

Kinder           2:55 to 3:50
