Schools
Quinlan ISD is comprised of six schools covering grade levels Pre-K through 12. All of our schools are located within the city of Quinlan.
Martin Early Childhood Center handles approximately 300 Pre-K and Kindergarten students. The MEC principal is Chris Taylor.
Cannon Elementary enrolls about 600 students in grades 1-3. The CES principal is John Milton and the assistant principal is Amy Griffin.
Butler Intermediate contains grades 4-5 and supports nearly 400 students. The BIS principal is Jacqulyn Cooper and the assistant principal is Dale Seawright.
Thompson Middle School is our junior high school holding grades 6-8 (approx. 650 students). Michael Tull serves as the TMS principal, and is joined by assistant principals Brian Kinsworthy and Juan Solis.
Ford High School is our high school facility and has about 875 students enrolled. Mr. Kell Cloption is the FHS principal; the assistant principals are Gary Pamplin and Christy Hansen.
The Alternative Learning Center handles alternative education programs as well as in-school suspension for the district and supports a varying number of students. Gary McNiel is the ALC Assistant Principal.
