The students that competed in this tournament were: Sir Marcqaus Napier, Hayden Brister, Angel Alvarado, Juliann Mathney McCarter, Charity Smithee, Analucia Trevino, Colton Pitts, Jevin Robertson, James Penninger, Christopher McDaniel, Jeremya Daniels, Micah Daniels, Darryll Rollins, Evan Lindsey, Alyssa Goins, Keith Jackson, Tyler Roton, Rayhan Haider, Forrest Hickey and Gavin Hughes.

Quinlan ISD Panther Martial Arts Instructors, Michael Suber, Michael Tull, Don Madden and David Sleeper are all very proud of the students and the outstanding competitiveness displayed by the number of medals they earned.  We are very proud of the sportsmanship, character and integrity the students demonstrated as they represented Quinlan ISD. It is encouraging to see young men and women represent Quinlan Independent School District not just in competition, but with the incredible amount of respect demonstrated.

Students in the Panther Martial Arts Program will be traveling to Shreveport to compete in the Deep South Martial Arts Championships on November 4, 2017.  The Quinlan ISD Panther Martial Arts program will hold its annual karate tournament on December 2, 2017.  The event will be held in the Thompson Middle School gym starting at 9:00 a.m.  This event is open to the public and it is a fun way to spend time with family watching our students compete with other students across Texas.
